    3270.32(a)/3270.192(4) · The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). LACKING REQUIRED HIRING DOCUMENTS: Facility Person # 2 may not work in a child care position at the facility. A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL.

    Staff person #1 has State Police and Child Abuse clearances that are over 60 months old. They immediately went on line and obtained updated clearances. Staff person #2 has a FBI clearance that is over 60 months old.

    3270.82(j) · A source of running water for handwashing shall be present in infant and toddler diapering areas. If the running water does not flow directly into a drain that is connected to a sewage system, a receptacle shall be provided to contain the water used for washing. The receptacle shall be emptied into an approved sewage system at least once a day.

    On 3/6/2023, during a virtual inspection, diapering was observed in Room 207. The portable sink is not working in that room and the staff person diapering the child was observed using hand sanitizer on both herself and the child instead of immediate handwashing. After she diapers all the children who require it, she then takes them down the hall to the bathroom to wash hands.
