3270.162(a) · If a child receives care for 4 or more consecutive hours, nutritional, appropriately-timed meals and snacks shall be served.

It was confirmed through verbal reports of Staff Person #2 and #3 that Child #1 was unintentionally not served lunch on the date in question. This was reportedly the result of the fact that Child #1 was in evident need of extra rest on that day and Staff Person #1 had permitted the child to get additional sleep just prior to and during the lunch period and it was not recognized until after the child had awoken that they had not eaten, which was directly and openly reported to the parent of the child on the same day. It was confirmed that the child was served an afternoon snack on that day.
