On 8-8-23; Child #1 was left on the playground unattended accidentally for a total of 2 minutes. Staff #1 was out on the playground at 5:15pm with 7 kids ages 3-5. A parent picked up their child and was talking to Staff #1 about their last day making sure all of the sunscreen and medications were in the child's cubby. Staff #1 shared it was not and needed to go in to help them grab it. Staff #1 announced to the children to line up to go inside. The parent started to open the gate and the children started to follow them off the playground. Child #1 was found 2 minutes later by another parent as they were talking by the playground to go inside. That parent brought Child #1 in and Child #1 and the parent were talked to by the Program Director, Staff #2. Staff #2 began to call the parents of Child #1, but dad arrived as she did so. The parents were informed of the incident.
