At time of unannounced inspection on 9/10/24, it was acknowledged by staff person #1 and #2 that on 9/5/24 child #1 eloped through an open gate on the playground while the class was outside. Staff person #1 and individual #2 were supervising the children outside and did not notice child #1 elope through the playground gate. Child #1 was missing from the facility and unsupervised for an undetermined amount of time and was found by a pedestrian on the sidewalk and then returned to facility by the police.
