The staff person shall know the names and whereabouts of the children in his assigned group. The staff person shall be physically present with the children in his group on the facility premises and on facility excursions off the facility premises.
At approximately 11:30am, Staff #1 and Staff #2 were in the playground area with nine toddlers. When interviewed, Staff #1 named five children in their supervisory group. When interviewed, Staff #2 did not know to which children they were assigned. This left four children unaccounted for in terms of group supervision. Given a second opportunity, Staff #1 had to assist Staff #2 with naming the children in their group.
