Observed in the infant classroom: Staff person #3, #4, #5 and #6 were supervising a group of 11 infants. When asked to identify their groups, staff person #3 stated she was a floater and did not have a group, staff person #4 named 3 infants, staff person #5 named 3 infants and staff person #6 names 3 infants. 2 infants were not identified in an assigned group. It was not communicated to staff person #3 who she was responsible for when she entered the classroom.

When staff was asked why they were in highchairs, they stated that one child "runs around" and the other "needs a diaper change." Previously on 4/3/2023 (SIN-00222185): The young toddlers were secured in table feeding chairs for a period of at least 45 minutes from 9:30 am until 10:15 am.

Staff #1 left the classroom to open the door of the facility to bring children in as they arrived for care. While staff #1 was out of the classroom, staff #2 was diapering a child in the young toddler area. Staff #2 was unable to supervise the children in the classroom as her view was obstructed by the wall dividing the classroom. All children in the young toddler classroom were left unsupervised. Around 8:00, Staff #3 was caring for children in the older toddler room was not able to identify their primary care group.

    It was observed at the time of inspection on 7-13-23 at 7:35 am staff #1 and staff #2 were caring for 5 infants, 5 older toddlers, 2 preschool children and 1 school aged child in the older toddler classroom. Staff #1 left the classroom to open the door of the facility to bring children in as they arrived for care. While staff #1 was out of the classroom, staff #2 was diapering a child in the young toddler area. Staff #2 was unable to supervise the children in the classroom as her view was obstructed by the wall dividing the classroom. All children in the young toddler classroom were left unsupervised. Around 8:00, Staff #3 was caring for children in the older toddler room was not able to identify their primary care group.
