Observed at approximately 9:30am staff persons #1 and #2 supervising 2 older toddlers and 4 preschoolers. At approximately 10:00am a behavior support person from an outside agency who is not a staff person took child #1 into the adjacent entry room. Staff #1 and #2 were not physically present with child #1 and could not adequately supervise child #1. Child #1 and the behavior support person remained in the entry room for approximately 10 minutes before returning to the child care space. This was repeated 2 additional times during the 3 hour inspection.
