Staff Person #1 immediately called for help to take their group and ran out the door after the children. Child #1 and Child #2 were standing in the empty lot and Staff Person #1 saw Child #3 run into a back door of a business a few doors down. Staff Person #1 gathered Child #1 and Child #2 and then proceeded through the business to look for Child #3. An employee of the business next door took Child #3 directly back to the main facility, as Staff Person #1 returned to the preschool area with Child #1 and Child #2.
