However, the updated state police clearance on file for Staff #2 was dated 8/6/2024. The previous state police clearance on file for Staff #2 was dated 4/23/2019.

A renewal inspection occurred at the facility. A review of staff files was conducted. See the code sheet for the date of hire. The file of Staff # 1 indicated this staff had lived out of state within the past 60 months. As a provisional hire, Staff # 1 was not hired correctly as a provisional hire as per the CPSL because they did not apply for the out of state clearances before working in child care. Staff # 1 was working at the time of this inspection. Staff # 2 was hired as a provisional hire but did not apply/receive for the FBI clearance until 12/18/23. The file also did not contain an NSOR clearance. Staff # 2 was hired incorrectly as a provisional hire because they did not apply for the FBI clearance at the time of hire and the file did not contain an NSOR clearance prior to the ending of the 45-day provisional hire period.
