The plan should include specific strategies for managing transitions throughout the day, such as when children arrive, leave, or move from one location to another within the center or play space. The system must include a process that includes a final sweep of the playground, classroom, gross motor space, etc. prior to transitioning children from one space to another.  The plan shall include checkpoints where staff will complete additional face-to-name checks (example: doors, stairs, hallways, etc.).  4) Staff person #2 will be required to complete random daily monitoring's to observe the use of face-to-name recognition during classroom transitions; the monitoring will be logged daily.  Staff person #3 will be required to complete random weekly monitoring's to observe the use of face-to-name recognition during classroom transitions; the monitoring will be logged weekly. The operator will develop a transition observation checklist that includes feedback for staff. This checklist is to be approved by the Central Region Office of Child Development and Early Learning prior to use. Completed checklists will be maintained on file by the facility director and be made available electronically to the Department Representative when requested.
