On 10/15/2025 at approximately 4:00 pm, staff person #1 and #2 were caring for a mixed group of 20 younger and older school age children in the gym. When it was time to transition to the cafeteria for snack, child #1 became upset and ran out of the gym. Staff person #1 chased after the child leaving staff person #2 alone in the gym with the remaining 19 children. Staff to child ratios for a mixed group of younger and older school age children is 1:12. Staff person #2 was out of ratio for a period of approximately 10 minutes while staff person #1 was tending to the situation with child #1.
