3270.115(a)(6) · When children are swimming, supervision shall include one person certified in lifeguard training, as described in § 3270.31(e)(4)(iii) (relating to age and training).
It was observed at the time of inspection that the staff certified life guard was sitting at the pool being used by the school-age children. The pre-school children using the "mushroom pool" were not supervised by the staff certified lifeguard due to the distance between the two pools. The two pools were separated by a Olympic size swimming pool that was being used for swim lessons at the time of inspection.
