The operator shall document the date of each training and the names of all facility persons who received the training and kept on file at the facility.

    A renewal inspection occurred at the facility. A review of staff files was conducted. Regulation requires staff to participate in at least an annual review of emergency plan. At the time of this inspection, the director was unable to provide documentation that the following staff reviewed the emergency plan annually: Staff #1 (pervious review 11/9/24), Staff #2 (no documented previous review). Staff #1 and #2 have been employed with the facility for more than 12 months. Staff #2 was working in child care at the time of this inspection.

All staff persons shall renew their certification in pediatric first aid and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on or before the expiration of the most current certification. Until such time as the required pre- service trainings are completed, staff person #1 and #2 must be supervised, when interacting with children at a minimum by, an AGS who has completed all preservice trainings and has all qualifications to care for children unsupervised. Regulation requires staff to participate in updated pediatric first aid and CPR training prior to their current certification expiring. At the time of this inspection, the director was unable to provide documentation that Staff #1 and #2 participated in updated pediatric first aid and CPR training. Staff #1 last participated in pediatric first aid and CPR training on 2/25/23 and Staff #2 on 6/25/22. Staff #2 was working in child care at the time of this inspection.
