    During family style breakfast Staff Person #1 placed a bowl of hard-boiled eggs cut into halves in front of Child #1 who is allergic to eggs. Child #1 took an egg from the bowl and took a bite; Staff #2 saw Child #1 ingest the egg and encouraged Child #1 to spit it out. Child #1 then had an allergic reaction to ingesting the egg, epi-pen was administered by the parents and Child #1 was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
