3270.111(c) · Daily activities shall promote the development of skills, social competence and self-esteem. Daily experiences shall recognize the child as an individual and give some choice of activities that respect personal privacy, lifestyle and cultural background.
A complaint inspection was conducted 10/17/25. Through interviews, it was found that Child #1 has been moved from the Pre-K Classroom to the preschool classroom with older toddlers and young preschool children. This was because the facility staff did not want an adult who provides specialized services to Child #1 to enter the child's Pre-K classroom. The child was also moved to the preschool classroom on other occasions due to their behavior. Adults providing services to the child report that there are challenges upstairs because the child mirrors the more difficult behaviors of the younger children. Facility staff report that Child #1 is too old for the preschool classroom upstairs.
