3270.54(a)/3270.113(a)(1) · At least two facility persons shall be present in the facility when two or more children are in care. At a minimum, one of the facility persons shall be a staff person. Each staff person shall be assigned the responsibility for supervision of specific children. The staff person shall know the names and whereabouts of the children in his assigned group. DURING THE RENEWAL INSPECTION, CERTIFICATION REPRESENTATIVE CONDUCTED A FACILITY WALKTHROUGH AND STAFF #2 WAS WORKING ALONE WITH 7 CHILDREN. WHEN CERTIFICATION REPRESENTATIVE ARRIVED AT THE FACILITY STAFF #2 CAME TO THE DOOR TO RETRIEVE TWO CHILDREN. UPON ENTERING THE CLASSROOM THERE WERE 5 CHILDREN LEFT UNATTENDED. DURING THE FACILITY WALKTHROUGH A CHILD WAS ALLOWED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM UNATTENDED AS WELL.

3270.31(g) · Completion of professional development shall be documented by the signature and title of a representative of the professional development entity and include the date professional development was completed. Documentation shall be retained in the facility person's file or maintained in an electronic system as designated by the Department. Documentation of the completion of the professional development under subsection (f) taken from September 30, 2016, forward satisfies this requirement. The evacuation routes and evacuation plans to exit the building may be the same as those required by §3270.94 (relating to fire drills).
