In the Room 8 (play space), hooks, screws were observed to be protruding from the walls and the trim around the door was observed to have several nails protruding. The trim around the door was not flush to the wall, creating a possible pinch-point. A light-switch plate on the left wall was observed to be cracked with sharp edges. A television was placed on the floor, presenting a tipping risk. In the changing room, the frame around the entry door was cracked, exposing splintered wood. A dresser in the room was not anchored to the wall, presenting a tipping hazard. A crib/changing table unit was not assembled properly (missing several screws), rendering it unstable. In both Room 8 (play space) and the main room and kitchen area, cords on the window blinds were accessible to children, presenting a strangulation risk. Strings loosely affixed to the wall, and a cord dangling from a camera were also observed presenting a strangulation risk. In the main room, the cord to the television mounted on the wall was loosely affixed, presenting a strangulation risk. In the kitchen area, the top drawer on the right side of the sink/countertop area a sharp knife accessible to children was observed. The right drawer below the microwave contained a sharp corkscrew accessible to children, and in the middle drawer below the microwave several sharp knives accessible to children were observed.
