Children on the facility premises and on facility excursions off the premises shall be supervised by a staff person at all times. Outdoor play space used by the facility is considered part of the facility premises.

    It was observed at the time of inspection, staff #1 was the only facility person with a group of eight children. Some of the children were in the cafeteria and some were playing in the adjacent gym. . When asked how the children were supervised when staff #1 was to walk down the hallway, out of site of the gym and the cafeteria, and let children into the building, staff #1 stated that the children come in with teachers who are entering the building at the same time as the children arrived, she would send a child from the program down the hallway to the door to let another child into the school age program or she will walk down the hallway and let the children into the school age program.
