Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play space surfaces shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards. The operator will notify the regional office when the problem has been resolved and will not return the children to this space until it has been inspected by the regional office.
Regional office received a complaint on 3/11/25 that there was a strong smell of kerosene in the toddler childcare space. On 3/12/25 received confirmation from an outside agency that the smell was present, and the operator was directed to move the children to a different childcare space. On 3/17/25 and unannounced inspection was conducted the children were relocated to another classroom. Upon inspecting the toddler room, the smell was still present.
