At the time of the inspection on 2/26/24, the pack and play in the front room had torn webbing and is a hazard to children. A trampoline was observed in the back play yard. The trampoline had torn protective surfacing where the support springs were exposed, the safety net was ripped, and the structure poles were not properly fastened and posed a hazard to children. An acceptable plan of correction was received stating the correction would be implemented by 3/15/24. A follow up inspection occurred on 5/8/24, the operator had purchased a new trampoline. The red mat covering the springs of the jump pad was able to be lifted exposing the springs. This poses a pinch and crush point hazard for children. The manufacturer's instructions states this for recreational use and not commercial. The manufacturer instructions also state to embed the trampoline with the provided wind stakes. It was not mounted over a loose-fill or unitary playground protective surface covering that meets the recommendations of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission for embedded equipment. The equipment was not anchored firmly.
