Documentation of a background check and employment history verification; if background check is in process then documentation showing that it is in process, such as a submission receipt, shall be placed in file. A background check must be conducted at least once every five years on all required individuals. See Staff Records 8.9.4.22. I will email the updated background check to ECECD. We will work with our HR to create a reminder system within our program calendar, to avoid any lapse in our 5-year background check renewals.
