Feeding practices are inappropriate as evidenced by two infants were observed with bottles in their mouths while in cribs. 1. On 10/29/2024 educators were asked to remove the bottles from the cribs. 2. As of 10/29/2024, the Director will go over the safe sleep practices and appropriate feeding practices with educators. 3. As of 10/29/2024, the Director will visit the classroom during naptime to ensure all children are in the proper place to sleep and that they are not drinking bottles while laying down. 8.9.4.24.C.3.:No child will be allowed to sleep in a playpen, pack and play, car seat, stroller, swings, bouncers or high chairs, or other equipment not intended for sleep purposes. A staff member in Classroom 2 did not wear non-porous, single-use gloves when changing a diaper. On 4/23/24 it was explained to the Director that educators need to wear gloves while they are changing a child's diaper. On 4/23/24 Director will talk to educators about wearing gloves during diaper changes and go over the diaper changing policy with them and have the educators sign the policy. Effective 4/24/24 Director will go into the classrooms weekly during diaper changing to make sure that the educators are wearing gloves during the changes.
