On March 29, 2024, We, as a staff, have reviewed our policies of reporting accidents to ECECD and have made it an official regulation that everyone is keenly aware of, to report all accidents, within 24 hours to ECECD. 8.9.4.21.C.2.:A center will notify parents or guardians in writing of any incident, including notifiable illnesses, that have threatened the health or safety of children in the center. The licensee shall ensure that it obtains parent or guardian signatures on all incident reports within 24 hours of the incident. We are tightening up our suspension policies so if the Primary children are not able to continue being in their own classroom due to safety concerns, that they will be sent home sooner and will not have to come into the Elementary classroom to wait for their parents to arrive.
