Crib federal standards were not met by evidence of pillows in cribs , cribs used for storage . Immediate- On 12/17/2025 director corrected onsite by removing pillows in the cribs. 8.9.4.23 · A PERSONNEL AND STAFFING REQUIREMENTS
The child(ren) in the Preschool Pre-K and early Pre-K room(s) was/were left unattended when going to the bathroom. A new policy and procedures form is in the process of being created, stating that no child should be left unattended at any time. Children are to be escorted to the restrooms regardless of if they are inside or outside. Failure to comply with this procedure will result in corrective action for the responsible teacher. Along with this updated policy, an ELC manual will be created and implemented. Our Professional Development Day has also been in effect as of today, where we have gone over these matters and the changes to come.

Educators in the Early Preschool room(s) are not actively engaged with children when outside on the playground. Effective May 1, 2024, we have implemented a Professional Development Day where we have gone over these matters and verbally implemented a corrective action Plan. Along with this, I am in the process of updating our Policy and Procedures form, including specific changes of "escorting children at all times, actively engaging children at all times as well as monitoring their safety, including while outside. Children are to remain with their class in their age-appropriate playground areas.
