8.9.4.23 · B STAFF QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
From the review of staff records, it was determined that 5 out of 18 staff working more than 20 hours a week, has/have no documentation of at least 24 hours of qualified annual training, See Staff Records 8.16.2.22 form for staff with missing documentation of training. Director will have the educators' complete trainings and update training log. 8.9.4.23.B.2.k.:Infant and toddler educators must have at least four hours of training in infant and toddler care annually and within three months of starting work. The four hours will count toward the 24-hour requirement. Finding It was observed that 5 out of 18 infant and toddler care givers failed to complete at least four hours of training in infant and toddler care annually or within six months of starting work. Corrective Action Plan Director will have the educators' complete trainings and update training log. Additional Comments This is for an incident investigation reported on 9/8/2023.
