From the review of staff records, it was determined that 1 out of 4 staff records does/do not include a background check. See Staff Records 8.9.4.22 form for staff with this missing information. 1 Staff member was cleared through PED previously however TA was given regarding the background clearance having to be through ECECD. IMMEDIATE: Educator was sent home. Educator registered onsite to have fingerprints completed. PREVENTATIVE: TA was given regarding the requirements for background clearances and no staff member can be with the children without proof of at least a provisional on file and working with an educator with a full clearance. MONITORING: Director will ensure all staff register to be fingerprinted through ECECD moving forward. Director will not allow anyone without a provisional or a clearance on file around the children.
