Three drivers were interviewed, and they stated that they utilize their phone to communicate with the Director to inform how many children are being picked up prior to driving off. These drivers also stated that at no time do they use their phone while driving and reiterated that the phone call is made prior to driving off. There was no evidence to substantiate the allegation, however, during the investigation and upon review of records, it was found that the center did not have completed transportation logs, 2 out of 3 drivers did not complete the transportation log, therefore, center was cited for not meeting the Transportation requirement under NMAC 8.9.4.28 J. Technical assistance was provided to Director in regards to updating the centers Cell Phone Policy to include a more detailed wording for drivers. Areas marked N/A are not applicable.
