The home's policies and procedures regarding the following need to be included: employee cellular telephone usage policy that directs and defines safe and appropriate use. Immediate-Caregiver immediately had a conversation with employee regarding the use of cell phones during hours of operation. Caregiver issued employee a write up. An email with employees signed no cell phone policy was received. Preventative-will ensure to keep on top of employees to ensure they are abiding by the no cell phone usage policy as signed in their employee handbook upon being hired. Monitoring-will continue to monitor staff and if another occurrence occurs, employees will be required to complete a training.
