From the review of staff records, it was determined that 3 out of 5 staff having direct contact with the children, does/do not have a complete file as required in 8.9.4.22F. 8.9.4.23 · B STAFF QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
From the review of staff records, it was determined that 5 out of 6 staff working more than 20 hours a week, has/have no documentation of at least 24 hours of qualified annual training, See Staff Records 8.9.4.23 form for staff with missing documentation of training. I will go through and get them from them so that they can be printed out and put into their file 8.9.4.23.B.2.c.:New staff members working directly with children regardless of the number of hours per week will complete the 45-hour entry level course or approved three-credit early care and education course or an equivalent approved by the department prior to or within six months of employment. Substitutes are exempt from this requirement. Finding From the review of staff records, it was determined that 4 out of 6 staff does/do not have documentation of the 45-hour entry level course or an approved equivalent prior to or within six months of employment. Corrective Action Plan I will go through and have the ones that need it enrolled and I will help the one that is having trouble with the website to be able to get enrolled into it 8.9.4.23.B.2.k.:Infant and toddler educators must have at least four hours of training in infant and toddler care annually and within three months of starting work. The four hours will count toward the 24-hour requirement. Finding It was observed that 3 out of 3 infant and toddler care givers failed to complete at least four hours of training in infant and toddler care annually or within six months of starting work. The light shields has a heavy accumulation of bugs. We will go in and take the light shields off and cleaned thoroughly. 2 Year Old Classroom room 6 8.9.4.29.A.1.:A center will keep the premises, including furniture, fixtures, floors, drinking fountains, toys and equipment clean, safe, and in good repair. The center and premises will be free of debris and potential hazards. Finding The windoww and curtains has a heavy accumulation of cobwebs and dirt. Corrective Action Plan we will go in and dust them and get them cleared out. I will add it to our check list for the beginning of the day. School Age Classroom 8.9.4.29.A.1.:A center will keep the premises, including furniture, fixtures, floors, drinking fountains, toys and equipment clean, safe, and in good repair.
