The center did not have available for review written policies and procedures covering expulsion of children. Immediate - ACDC will get more resources for parents and their actions. Preventative - The resources will be implemented into our parent handbook. The center did not have a parent handbook that included parent handbook that included general information. The following general information needs to be included: program information (location, license information, days and hours of operation, services offered). The center's policies and procedures regarding the following need to be included: expulsion procedures. I was not aware that we could not charge registration fee to State parents. I will take that off my forms. When state came in we did pay that back immediately. Immediate: The Director is aware of registration fee requirements and acknowledges the necessary changes to her forms. She will implement these changes to her forms within the next 5 days. As of today, she is no longer charging the registration fees. Preventative: The Director will review the parent handbook, make all the necessary updates, consult with ECECD as needed, and conduct a policy review every 90 days. Monitoring: The Director will implement and make any necessary changes as necessary and will ensure all updates are communicated appropriately to staff and parents in a timely manner.
