The group day care home exceeded the allowable number of children stated on the license by either total or age as evidenced by 14 children present. Immediate: On 1/22/2026 provider sent two children home. Preventative: Provider will ensure to not exceed capacity of the home, and not allow them to be present. Monitoring: Provider will track enrollment as well as talking to the parents to follow schedules.

The home does not have a written plan for ongoing professional development for each staff member, including the director, that is based on the seven areas of competency, consistent with the career lattice, and based on the individual's goals. Immediate: On 1/22/2026 provider will have staff complete plan. Preventative: Provider will have staff complete plan yearly and will hold them responsible for completing on their own. Monitoring: Provider will check staff files quarterly and will set a calendar reminder to ensure plan is done.
