The premises in the preschool classroom are not safe in that cleaning supplies were accessible to children. 10/17/24 -For immediate actions taken we did take out all sanitizing tablet solutions out of the classrooms and double checked that all chemicals were being stored properly in the utility room, kitchen and out of reach of the children in the classrooms. To make sure chemicals are out of reach of children staff will be retrained on how to properly prepare sanitizing solutions in the utility room. We will also retrain current staff on where to put cleaning solutions when in the classroom to make sure they are out of reach of the children. When new staff is hired, they will also be trained in these policies. A manager will monitor morning preparations of all cleaning solutions. 8.9.4.12 · A, K, M LICENSING ACTIONS AND ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS
A.The licensing authority may revoke, suspend, or restrict a license, reduce star status, deny an initial or renewal license application, impose monetary sanctions pursuant to 7.1.8 NMAC, put in place conditions of operation, impose other sanctions or requirements against a licensee, or reduce to a base level of child care assistance reimbursement a licensee who is in receipt of a higher than base level of child care assistance reimbursement, for any of the following reasons: 1. violation of any provision of these regulations, especially when the licensing authority has reason to believe that the health, safety or welfare of a child is at risk, or has reason to believe that the licensee cannot reasonably safeguard the health and safety of children; 9.failure to comply with provisions of the other related regulations listed in these regulations; Center will comply with the most current regulations. The child(ren) in the 2 yr. old class room(s) was/were left unattended when when two-year-old child was left unattended outside on the playground as evidenced by video footage.. Center will comply with the most current regulations.
