The licensee did not obtain background checks on all staff, volunteers, and prospective staff as per the requirements outlined in the department's most current version of the Background Check and Employment History Verification provisions. On 12/3/2024 provider had a secondary provider without a background clearance in the home. Provider stated she sent in the background check for the secondary provider. Ongoing provider will not allow any adult without a clearance to be caring for children. Provider will use a checklist to ensure background is sent before secondary begins to work.
