8.9.4.24 · C ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR INFANTS AND TODDLERS
A child was observed sleeping in a bouncer and the child was not removed to a crib for quite some time after they saw the child was asleep. Immediate Action: Director has spoken to the educators in the infant classroom to let them know the importance of moving the children to cribs once the have fallen asleep in the bouncer. Preventative Action: The Director is going to have the infant educators take additional infant trainings on Quorum to ensure that proper care is being implemented. Will have trainings complete by 4/10/26. Ongoing Action: Director and Co-Director will ensure that they are doing daily walk throughs in the infant classroom to ensure everything is going smoothly. 8.9.4.24.C.13.:Infants shall either be held or fed sitting up for bottle-feeding. Infants unable to sit shall always be held for bottle-feeding. Infants and toddlers shall not be placed in a supine position while drinking via bottles or sippy cups. The carrying of bottles and sippy cups by young children throughout the day or night shall not be permitted.
