While watching the video surveillance, it was witnessed that staff member physically maltreated a child. * Dining camera on 5/2024 at 9:35am staff member pulls out chair with male child and proceeds to grab the male child out of his chair by the hood of his shirt * Dining camera 5/20/24 9:35am, staff member pulls female child from the table, grabs child by left arm and throws her out of the doorway into the room next to the dining area. *Dining camera 5/21/24 at 10:56am staff member grabs child by the sides, lifted male child up and forcefully sat him down in the chair *Dining camera 5/21/24 10:59am staff member dragged another kid outside the dining room *Dining camera 10:59;56am staff member forcefully grabbed male child again out of the chair into the other room to wash his hands and get him changed * Dining camera 5/21/24 11:00:57am staff member forcefully grabbed female child, lifted on staff members right side only holding child by staff members right hand while the child was in horizontal position * Dining camera 5/21/24 10:58am staff member slapped a child on the hand. Around the same time, the owner took a child from dining to get him changed and aggressively lay him down on the mat * Main room camera 5/21/24 9:01am staff member forcefully twisted a little girls head to braid her hair * Main room camera 5/21/24 9:06:41am staff member grabbed a child's hand while he was playing with a toy *Main room camera 5/21/24 9:07am staff member repeated the same act to child *Main room area camera 5/21/24 9:12:32 am staff member aggressively picked up a kid from the floor to another position.

During interview with the owner Karen "Kay" Schempp, i asked her what forms of discipline they use in the facility and she stated quiet time or a break from the situation. I then asked if she has ever had any concerns about staff members mishandling/mistreating children and her response was "Seen staff roughly mishandling children".
