75-03-10-28 · (2)-The Operator shall ensure safe care for the children receiving services in the childcare center. Each applicant, operator, director, supervisor, emergency designee, substitute staff member, and staff member shall complete, and the operator shall submit to the department or its authorized agent, a department-approved authorization for background check form no later than the first day of employment.
During an unannounced visit while reviewing staff qualifications it was noted a staff member did not have a CBCU memo in the staff file. The director was unable to locate the memo.
