50-11.1-03 · A license for family childcare is required if early childhood services are provided for four or more children ages twenty-four months and under, or six or seven children through age eleven at any one time which includes no more than three children under twenty- four months of age. Maximum of 4 children under the age of 24 months, plus 2 school age children, including provider's own children. Maximum of 7 children of which no more than 3 are under the age of 24 months, plus 2 school age children, including provider's own children.
