A checklist was used to monitor compliance. Today’s visit was conducted with you, Sandra Brown, owner/operator. Your FCCH operates with a 2-STAR license. The primary care area of the FCCH is in the living room at the front entrance. Two preschool children were present and interacting with you, coloring and learning about letters. You stated, in addition to the primary care area, the children have access to the entire downstairs areas of the home except your master bedroom, which was not accessible. You stated the children play outside in the front yard, and there are no pets in the home and there are no medications the children take in the home. Your husband, Oliver, was present in the home. *****VERIFICATION OF RECORDS: *Health & Safety trainings will be due in February 2027. *The last fire drill & lockdown drill was on 2-17-25. The last outdoor inspection was on 3-4-25. The water and asbestos test was completed on 4-1-24 and will expire 4-1-27. To maintain compliance with NC laws and rules regarding childcare operation, the following violations must be corrected immediately. Please email a signed and dated corrective action letter (CAL) BY 3-18-25 to michelle.ezzell@dhhs.nc.gov Scan me proof of your eight (8) hours of on-going training certificate(s).
