Brandy Piantino, person in charge, accompanied me during a walk-through of the facility. During the visit, I discussed the allegations with Ms. Piantino. Limited monitoring of child care requirements occurred during today’s visit. Violation Number Comment Rule 902 Each child was not attended to in a nurturing and appropriate manner, or in keeping with the child's developmental needs. In March 2024, staff members in the classroom for four and five-year-old children repeatedly and excessively spoke to the children in a harsh manner. Brandy Piantino, person in charge, accompanied me during a walk-through of the facility. During the visit, I discussed the allegations with Ms. Piantino, Jordan Cauley, corporate representative, and additional staff members. Limited monitoring of child care requirements occurred during today’s visit. The following violations were observed and/or confirmed during today’s visit. Violation Number Comment Rule 902 Each child was not attended to in a nurturing and appropriate manner, or in keeping with the child's developmental needs. I overheard a staff member in the classroom for two-year-old children yelling at a child while preparing for nap time. G.S. 110-91(10) Violations must be corrected immediately.
