Your program currently operates with a three-star license, issued May 2, 2022, earning 6 points in the education component, 2 points in the program standards component meeting minimum requirements, completing a self-study using FCCERS and 1 quality point for restricting infant capacity to no more than two children under one year of age. The center's compliance history was reviewed with the operator. The program’s compliance history was ninety-seven percent as of July 21, 2025. The license was posted, and the restrictions were in compliance. A walk-through of the facility was completed today; all indoor and outdoor areas were monitored. I observed children in the indoor learning environments and found supervision, capacity, and interactions to be in compliance. Children throughout the home were participating in group time, free play in activity areas, transitions and personal care routines. The caregiver was interacting and meeting the developmental needs for each of the children. Rated license requirements were reviewed to ensure compliance was maintained with the current program and education components as well as the quality point. The following was cited during today’s inspection. Violation Number Comment Rule 905 Record of monthly fire drills, giving the date, time of day and length of time to evacuate, and operator's signature, were not available. The operator did not document completed drills. This was corrected during the visit by updating the drill log with the dates the drills were completed. .1721 (e )(2) Child Care programs are expected to always achieve and maintain compliance and are required by NC GS 110-90(4) (d) to achieve and maintain an eighteen-month compliance history score of at least seventy-five percent. Any violation(s) documented may impact the compliance history score. The violation(s) documented must be corrected immediately.
