You, Ms. Zanet, assisted me with the visit today. Your program currently operates with a Four-Star license issued 9/23/19. The facility compliance history was reviewed with the operator. The program’s compliance history was ninety-nine percent (99%) as of 2/6/25. A walk-through of the facility was completed today, all indoor areas were monitored. I observed children in the indoor learning environment and found supervision and staff/child ratios to be in compliance. Children were participating in free time, transitions, and personal care routines. The caregivers were interacting and meeting the developmental needs of the children. The last fire drill was conducted on 1/21/25. The last outdoor inspection was 1/21/25. The last shelter and lock down drill were 1/21/25. The last fire inspection was on 2/3/25. The last sanitation inspection was 12/10/24, a superior classification with 7 demerits. One violation was cited during today’s visit. The provider did ask questions and the topics below were discussed to ensure the facility stays in compliance. Violation Number Comment Rule 1044 Prior to the expiration date of the qualification letter, the child care provider did not complete and submit required forms to complete a criminal background check (a qualification letter is valid for a maximum of five years for the date of issuance). Prior to the expiration date a staff member did not complete and submit required forms to complete a criminal background check. The staff member was not present during today's visit. The staff member works mostly in the summer time. The staff member's qualification expired on 10/8/24 (M. Johnson) G.S. 110-90.2(b) & .2703(n)&(o) The violation(s) documented must be corrected immediately. On or before 2-20-25, I must receive a written, dated, and signed compliance letter that describes accurately and in detail how and when the violations were corrected. Also, please provide information regarding how the facility will maintain compliance in the future. Please be aware that any information submitted by you is considered legal documentation.
