The last annual compliance visit was conducted on 3/6/22. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the program coordinator, Angela Bivens. There were 64 children present during today's visit. Ms. Bivens was a group leader today, along with two additional leaders. Children were observed completing homework or participating in quiet activities such as; reading books, coloring and playing with matching pegs, magna tiles and animals. Group leaders were observed being attentive to the children’s needs, and attending to the children in a positive, nurturing manner. During today’s visit, required items were current and posted. There was one item of non-compliance observed during today's visit. Violation Number Comment Rule 301 Minimum staff/child ratios and group sizes for the number and ages of children in care were not met. A group leader left for the day during the visit, leaving the two remaining groups over the maximum group size. GS 110-91(7);.0713(a-d) Violation(s) documented above must be corrected immediately. A signed and dated letter of compliance must be emailed to me by 11/6/23, describing how and when the violation(s) were corrected and how compliance will be maintained in the future. Please remember your letter should include facility name, facility ID#, and original signature. During the visit a group leader left for the remainder of the day. This left the remaining two groups over the maximum group size. There were two group leaders and 62 children, the maximum group size is 1:25.
