Name of Operation: PAMPER, HUGS & LUV'S AFTERSCHOOL FACILITY Facility ID: 26001819 Consultant: SANDRA JOHNSON Operation Type: Center Case Number: Visit Date: 4/7/2025 Number Present: 32 Completed Date: 4/7/2025 Age: From 4 To 6 Total Minutes: 310 Time In: 08:50 AM Time Out: 02:00 PM Time In: Time Out: List to Use: Center Type Of Visit: Annual Comp Full Announced/Unannounced: Unannounced The purpose of today’s visit was to monitor compliance with applicable child care requirements pertinent to an annual compliance visit, including compliance with requirements located in Child Care Rule Section .3000 in Spaces # 1 and #2 which serve children participating in the NC Pre-K program, and Health and Safety Training. The previous Annual Compliance Visit was completed, and prior to 4/16/2024 day’s visit, the eighteen-month compliance history score was at 100%, which is above the 75% required by North Carolina General Statute 110-90(4)(c-d). This program currently operates with a five-Star License issued August 20, 2021, The License was based on the program earning seven- points in education standards, six-points in program standards, and one quality point by choosing to meet an educational option with the child care administrator has at least 10 years of documented child care administrative work experience in a licensed program that can be verified by the Division. The information on record with DCDEE was verified as correct by Kimberly Malloy, and the owner’s corporation status was verified on the Secretary of State’s website as current-active. Current Inspections are as follows: Sanitation Classification of Superior completed 2/18/2025 Fire Classification of Approved Daytime Only completed 7/11/2024. Ms. Malloy, Administrator, was present while I observed the indoor and outdoor areas. Children were observed participating in free choice play. They were observed playing using a microscope to look at sea animals in stone glass. Children were observed drawing, writing their names, playing with manipulative toys. Also, children were observed participating in outdoor play. They were seen climbing, running, swinging and playing with balls. Lunch served today was bake beans, pears, chicken nuggets, tortillas, and milk. At the completion of the visit, the Visit Summary was reviewed with Ms. Malloy. The following violation was observed. Violation Number Comment Rule 1899 Health and safety training topics were not included as part of on-going training within five years of completing the previous health and safety training topics. Completion of Recognizing and Responding to Suspicions of Child Maltreatment training was not completed with five years of completing the previous health and safety training topics for Two staff. .1103(b) Child Care programs are expected to achieve and maintain compliance at all times and are required by NC GS 110-90(4) (d) to achieve and maintain an eighteen-month compliance history score of at least seventy-five percent. Violations observed and documented today may impact the compliance history score. The violations observed and documented today must be corrected immediately. Additionally, by 5:00pm on April 21, 2025, you must submit a written, dated, and signed statement to me. The statement must describe accurately and in detail, how and when the violations were corrected. If the letter states that corrections have been made when they have not, this may be considered falsification of information.
