The previous Annual Compliance Visit was completed December 8, 2025, and prior to today’s visit, the eighteen-month compliance history score was at 97 %, which is above the 75% required by North Carolina General Statute 110-90(4)(c-d). This program currently operates with a Notice of Compliance issued February 21, 2021. The information on record with DCDEE was verified as correct by Jaimie Sifford and the owner’s corporation status was verified on the Secretary of State’s website as current-active. Sanitation Classification of Superior completed 2/27/2026. Fire Classification of Approved for daytime care, completed 7/8/2025. J. Sifford, Administrator, was present while observing the indoor and outdoor areas. In space #1, 2, and #3, were observed playing with manipulative toys while sitting at child size table. The children were observed playing with magnetic connecting toys. They were observed building small structures. The teacher talked with them about what they were building and shared with them other things they could add to their structure. The children were very excited about the water play day with their parents that they were getting ready to participate in during today’s visit. The children were observed playing water games outside with the teachers and their parents. They were observed playing with water spay batons, playing on a slip and slide, drawing with large sidewalk chalk, and playing with bubbles. The teachers and parents were assisting the children as needed. At the completion of the visit, the Visit Summary was reviewed with J. Sifford. The following violation was observed. Violation Number Comment Rule 1805 A child care operator did not notify the Division of any new child care providers, as defined in G.S. 110-90.2(a)(2), who were hired or moved into the child care facility within five business days. The facility did not a ABCMS roster available for review. G.S. 110-90.2 & .2703(r) Child Care programs are expected to achieve and maintain compliance at all times and are required by NC GS 110-90(4) (d) to achieve and maintain an eighteen-month compliance history score of at least seventy-five percent.
