Ms. Edwards stated she is working outside the home until more children are enrolled. We reviewed the Operator’s Statement of Responsibility today. As the licensed operator, you are required to provide care to all enrolled children. Any additional caregivers are to provide care in the event of absences for appointments, vacation, or illness. I left a copy of a school-age activity plan with you today. Since you only have one school-age child enrolled, you must have four activities available daily when school is not in session and three during school days. If preschool children enroll, you will need to complete the preschool activity plan. Activity plans must be based on the NC Foundations for Early Learning.
