The last annual compliance visit was conducted on 10/2/2024. An Annual Compliance Monitoring Checklist for FCCH checklist was used to note the requirements I monitored today. The facility has an 18-month compliance history of 100%. Upon arrival I was greeted by Ronald Isaac. Mr. Isaac, Britany, Ms. Issacs daughter and three children were present during today’s visit. Ms. Issac was not present during the visit. I reviewed three out of eight children’s files. An Operator Statement of Responsibility and a Verification of Required Information for Operators and Additional Caregivers was completed and reviewed during the visit today. I walked through the indoor and outdoor licensed spaces of the home that the children use during the visit. I observed the children resting, arriving, and playing with activities. A full assessment of applicable child care requirements was conducted during today’s visit as per the attached checklist. One violation was documented during todays visit. Violation Number Comment Rule 1302 Training was not approved by the Division. Although the owner/operator has current ITS/SIDS training. The owner/operator has current ITS/SIDS training however, the provider caring for the children during the visit did not have current ITS/SIDS training. 10A NCAC 09 .1705(b)(4)(B) In order to maintain compliance with North Carolina child care laws and rules, the above violations must be corrected immediately. A letter stating how the violations were corrected and how you plan to maintain compliance in the future must be submitted to me by August 28, 2025. Although you, Ms. Issac have current ITS/SIDS training, everyone providing care for infants must have current training as well. Although you have the necessary training hours, we discussed how to locate the amount of clock hours needed and where to locate that information. 10A NCAC 09 .1703 ON-GOING REQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME OPERATORS (d) After the first year of employment, the family child care home operator, and staff who work with children shall complete on-going training activities as follows: Certificate or diploma in a child care related field of study from a regionally accredited college or university, or persons with a North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential.
