The center has four NCPK classrooms with forty-six children enrolled. The NCPK requirements were monitored during today’s visit. The program operates for 6.5 hours a day. A monthly breakfast and lunch menu was posted in each classroom. Six NC Pre-K children's files were monitored and each contained a health assessment within 30 days, an ASQ3 screening within 90 days, and evidence of each child's on-going progress. The teachers use the Creative Curriculum and activity plans were current and posted. Staff/child ratio of 1:9 or less is being maintained.
