Your program currently operates with a Notice of Compliance, issued August 20, 2025. The center's compliance history was reviewed with the operator. The program’s compliance history was ninety-six percent as of December 16, 2025. The NC Secretary of State website was reviewed on December 16, 2025, and Chatham Christian Academy was listed as current- active. The Notice of Compliance was posted, and the restrictions were in compliance. A walk-through of the facility was completed today; all indoor and outdoor areas were monitored. I observed children in the indoor learning environments and found supervision and staff/child ratios to be in compliance. Children throughout the facility were participating in group time, free play in activity areas, transitions and personal care routines. The caregivers were interacting and meeting the developmental needs for each of the children. The most recent Fire inspection was completed March 24, 2025, and the most recent Sanitation visit was completed October 7, 2025. The following was cited during today’s inspection. Violation Number Comment Rule 805 Fire drills were not practiced monthly and/or the drill record was incomplete. The November fire drill was not recorded on the drill log. The drill was conducted November 12, 2025. This was corrected during the visit by updating the drill log. .0604(t); .0302(d)(5) Child Care programs are expected to always achieve and maintain compliance and are required by NC GS 110-90(4) (d) to achieve and maintain an eighteen-month compliance history score of at least seventy-five percent. Any violation(s) documented may impact the compliance history score. The violation(s) documented must be corrected immediately. Technical Assistance: We discussed the importance of updating drill sheets and keeping them updated with accurate dates. I recommend having the teachers complete the drill log once the drill is completed. At the completion of the visit, this visit summary was printed, reviewed, and a copy was left with you.
