The previous Annual Compliance Visit was completed May 23, 2025, and prior to today’s visit, the eighteen-month compliance history score was at 96% which is above 75%, as required by North Carolina General Statute 110-90(4)(c-d). This program currently operates with a three-Star License issued March 9, 2021. The License was based on the program earning six (6) points in education standards, two (2) points in program standards, and one (1) quality point by choosing to meet a Programmatic option: with serves no more than two infants under one year of age. The information on record with DCDEE was verified as correct by Rajai Lancaster. Current Inspections are as follows: The Sanitation classification of Superior completed April 2, 2026. R. Lancaster was present while I observed the indoor and outdoor area. The children were observed participating in center play such as blocks and puzzles. The caregiver reviewed the schedule with the children in care. The children were made aware that story time will happen after center play. Lunch served today was chicken fries, green beans, peaches, and milk. At the completion of the visit, the Visit Summary was reviewed with R. Lancaster. Violation Number Comment Rule 1306 Operator has not completed ITS-SIDS training every three years from the completion date of the previous ITS-SIDS training. Its-Sids training were not completed every three years, training were completed March 21, 2023 and expired on March 21, 2026. An observation was completed from 9:15a.m to 9:30a.m., the children were seen playing with stacking blocks, legos and writing with crayons on white paper. The teacher sat with the children while they drew their handprints. The children move freely about the child care space. The teacher did not talk to the child much about what they were doing. She provided more directive interaction with the children. At the completion of the visit, the Visit Summary was reviewed with Ms. Lancaster.
