    Name of Operation: ALDERMAN ROAD PRIME TIME Facility ID: 26001595 Consultant: NANCY STRATFORD Operation Type: Center Case Number: Visit Date: 1/23/2024 Number Present: 45 Completed Date: 1/23/2024 Age: From 5 To 12 Total Minutes: 140 Time In: 03:00 PM Time Out: 05:20 PM Time In: Time Out: List to Use: Center Type Of Visit: Annual Comp Full Announced/Unannounced: Unannounced The purpose of today's visit was to monitor compliance with applicable child care requirements pertinent to an annual compliance visit, including Health and Safety Training. The previous Annual Compliance Visit was completed February 02, 2023, and prior to today’s visit, the eighteen-month compliance history score was at 95%, which is above 75%, as required by North Carolina General Statute 110-90(4)(c-d). This program currently operates with a Three-Star License issued March 25, 2020. The License was based on the program earning four points in education standards, two points in program standards, and one quality point by choosing to meet a programmatic option staff benefits package and infrastructure of parent involvement. The information on record with DCDEE was verified as correct by Ms. Ronza LaSane, Administrator and the owner’s corporation status was verified on the Secretary of State’s website as current-active. Current Inspections are as follows: Sanitation Classification of Superior completed October 2, 2023. Fire Classification of Approved completed September 11, 2023. Ms. LaSane was present and accompanied me while observing the indoor areas. The outdoor area was not monitored due to the license restriction: Playground area does not meet child care playground standards. There were three groups of children, and the children were observed in the following activities: completing homework, playing with table toys, and playing a tag game in the gym. Activities and materials were open and available. Snack served was cheese crackers and 6 ounces of chilled juice. At the completion of the visit, the Visit Summary was reviewed with Ms. LaSane. The following violation was observed: Violation Number Comment Rule 106 Operator has not scheduled and obtained a fire inspection within 12 months of the previous inspection. Operator did not submit the original approved report to DCDEE within one week of the inspection visit on a form provided by the Division. The fire inspection dated for September 11, 2023; this was not submitted to the Division within one week of the inspection visit. A copy of the fire inspection report was received on October 30, 2023. 10A NCAC 09 .0304(a) Child Care programs are expected to achieve and maintain compliance at all times and are required by NC GS 110-90(4) (d) to achieve and maintain an eighteen-month compliance history score of at least seventy-five percent. The Violation observed and documented today may impact the compliance history score. The violation observed and documented today was corrected during today's visit. A compliance letter is not required. Facility Specific TA/Consultation/Reminders: Fire Inspection: Your last fire inspection was dated for March 3, 2023. Reminder, Fire Inspections will need to be completed within 12 months of the center’s previous fire inspection.
